After seeing five hours of flat monotonous landscape between Novi Sad and Budapest we were kind of glad we had decided to put our bicycles on the train. As you can see from the photo we spent most of our time in the restaurant wagon!
Budapest really is a beautiful city with good looking people, lots of green space, plenty of fine food, impressive classical and art nouveau architecture and best of all some wonderful thermal baths to cure the sore bicycle legs and bum. One of favourite cities in Europe......no question!
