Nothing like renting a scooter for a few days and getting up early and chasing those balloons among the fairy-like chimneys. When the balloon rides are over for the day you can check out some of incredible rock-cut Byzantine churches or explore some of the underground cities. Yes people as far back as 7 century BC (or possibly earlier) used to live this troglodyte lifestyle deep underground...tooo dark and claustrophic for Rai and Stephie! Next stop: buying two touring bikes in Instanbul and one tent for our cycle ride towards The Netherlands. Our Asian adventure is coming to an end very soon! What a trip....!
