A cycle ride of two halves: the first half in Hungary with lots of rain but nice yellow wheat fields along the meandering Mini Danube (Mosoni Duna) and the second half in Slovakia riding along a dyke with a strong 25 knot headwind towards the capital Bratislava. And in between we nervously stopped at a fancy five star golf course near the border and tried to order some coffee and toasties looking dirty and wet. They served us no problem!
It was 17 degrees today. Definitely not a tropical mid June feeling! Weather forecast predicts Danube swimming weather plus suntan in the days to come. Can't wait!
