More overnight bus journeys and finally we arrived at the beautiful green city of Shiraz which is full of architectural gems. Just ignore the crazy taxi drivers. You will also not get much sightseeing done here. Instead you will be invited to tea in the park by the locals or lunch at my place which you would be rude and stupid to refuse. Brilliant, warm, genuine Iranian hospitality! Ooooh and don't expect to drink delicious red Shiraz wine here...stick to tea and Dough. In Korea we were addicted to Soyu, in Iran we are addicted to Dough - a minty watery yogurt drink...highly addictive and refreshing!
